    The World Logistics Center utilizes the Highland Fairview Complete Life Cycle HF|clc innovative technology. This cutting edge design process has resulted in significant achievement in sustainable development with the award by the USGBC of the LEED Gold Certification for Highland Fairview’s SKECHERS® Facility in Moreno Valley.

    The facility is recognized as the largest building of its kind to have ever been bestowed with this prestigious distinction, making Moreno Valley a global leader in advanced sustainable design. The HF|clc seamlessly integrates the design, construction, operations and maintenance of buildings as an integral part of the engineering process. This process ensures that our projects have minimal impact on both people and the environment.

    MINIMAL WATER USAGE
    The World Logistics Center is designed with an innovative and high-standard of sustainability and water efficiency. This will result in an estimated 70% reduction in the project’s total water usage compared to the City’s current general plan of the project area.

  • 20,000 JOBS
    The EIR estimates the project will generate an estimated 20,000 jobs for Moreno Valley. The World Logistics Center will help fulfill Moreno Valley’s vision by creating thousands of job opportunities in many fields from entry level to management positions. With The World Logistics Center, Moreno Valley will have what it needs to win the fiercely competitive jobs race.

    $3 BILLION IN CONSTRUCTION SPENDING
    The EIR estimates the project will generate $3 billion in construction spending and generate an estimated 13,000 construction jobs. The World Logistics Center will generate a decade of construction jobs.

    $22 MILLION EVERY YEAR FOR SCHOOLS & COMUNITY COLLEGES
    The EIR estimates the project will generate $22 million in property tax revenue every year from the World Logistics Center project to the state for schools and community colleges. Additionally $20 million in construction fees will be paid to our local school districts.

    $5.7 MILLION EVERY YEAR FOR CITY FUNDS
    he EIR estimates the project will generate an annual tax surplus of $5.7 million to the city that can be used for fire, police, parks or other city improvements.

  • Noise Insulation Reimbursement Program Details:
    As part of the World Logistics Center project construction, the developer, Highland Fairview, is officially offering to reimburse 90% of the costs of purchasing and installing noise insulation in your home, up to a maximum of $10,000.

    If your family income is less than 80% of the area median income for Moreno Valley, Highland Fairview will reimburse 100% of the cost up to a maximum of $10,000.     In order to take advantage of this offer, you, as the homeowner/resident must request payment before the end of the eligibility period. To be eligible for reimbursement, you must register with Highland Fairview prior to commencement of work.     Air Filtration System Reimbursement Program Details:

    As part of the World Logistics Center project construction, the developer, Highland Fairview, is officially offering to reimburse 90% of the costs of purchasing and installing a non-portable air filtration system, including any necessary heating, ventilation, and air conditioning modification, up to a maximum of $25,000.

    If your family income is less than 80% of the area median income for Moreno Valley, Highland Fairview will reimburse 100% of the cost up to a maximum of $25,000. Information on the area median income can currently be found at:
